Lake Pichola Haveli, Udaipur, Autumn 2024
A three-day wedding compressed from the couple’s original five-day brief once we mapped their guest list and budget honestly — proof that tighter isn’t smaller when the sequence is planned well.
With the lake as the real backdrop, we kept decor minimal and let the water do the work — low floral lines, brass lanterns, and a mandap positioned so every seat faced the lake at sunset for the pheras.

A forty-person family lunch in a private courtyard, kept deliberately small.
Rooftop haldi with a lake view, yellow and marigold only.

Courtyard mehendi with a folk-music duo instead of a full stage.
A single-evening sangeet combined with the welcome dinner to fit the three-day window.

Lakeside mandap timed to golden hour, minimal florals, maximum view.
A 320-cover reception on the haveli’s terrace, lit entirely with lanterns and string lights.
